Glycerol gradient sedimentation of TbRGG2. Clarified extract from PF mitochondria (equivalent of 5 × 10⁹ cells) was either treated with RNase A for 15 min (+) or left untreated (–) and subsequently loaded onto a 10–30% glycerol gradient. The indicated size markers were determined by the internal editosome markers, KREPA2 and KREL1 (20 S) and Tbmp45 (40 S). Gradients were centrifuged at 38,000 × g for 5 h and fractionated into 500-μl fractions. Ten μl from each fraction was analyzed by Western blot for the indicated proteins.
