Stability of DMPC:apoA-I peak II complex. Peak II was isolated by gel filtration of an overnight incubation of DPH-labeled LUVs (DMPC:apoA-I 200:1 mole ratio). The sample in peak II was separated into two aliquots, which were incubated at 23°C overnight without (solid line) or with addition of apoA-I to a final concentration of 8.6 µM (dotted line). These two samples were then analyzed by gel filtration on a Superdex 200 column and monitored for DPH fluorescence.
