Two effective siRNA molecules targeting SKA2 were identified and used in microarray analysis to compare the transcriptional changes between wild-type A549 cells and A549 cells transfected with SKA2 siRNA molecules. Three SKA2-specific siRNAs were transiently transfected into cells at the concentrations shown. Two of the siRNAs showed greater than 80% SKA2 knockdown at 24 h (numbers 3 and 4). These two were used in the microarray analysis summarized in Table 1.
