HEK 293T/17 cells were incubated with mixtures of 510 nm QD-CPP (250 nM QD conc.) and unconjugated 551 nm QDs (60 nM) (in A-E) or to unconjugated 510 nm QDs (60 nM in QDs) and 551 nm QD-CPP (250 nM QD conc.) (in F-J). In both cases, cells were co-incubated with 40 μg/mL AF546-transferrin. The merged/DIC images show that assemblies are excluded from the nucleus. Scale bar is 10 μm.
