Respiratory and k–t reconstruction-related artefact: perfusion-cardiac magnetic resonance images from a patient who was unable to hold his breath during the stress-perfusion acquisition. Images from left to right show dynamic images reconstructed for different time points of the acquisition. The first and last images show reconstruction errors due to respiratory motion, whilst images during the myocardial contrast passage are relatively free of artefact, allowing an assessment of myocardial perfusion as normal.
