Comparative analysis of the cytotoxic effect of B3CD and calcitriol/vitamin D3 on various human NB cell lines. NB cells (SMS-KCNR, SH-SY5Y, and IMR-32) were treated with various concentrations (0.1–30 μM) of B3CD and calcitriol/vitamin D3 for 24 h. The MTS viability assay was carried out as described in ‘Materials and Methods’ section. Experiments were performed in triplicates; data are expressed as the mean of the triplicate determinations (X SD) of a representative experiment in % cell viability of untreated cells [100%].
