Role of T lymphocytes in primary hMPV infection. Mice were treated with anti-CD4, anti-CD8, or both anti-CD4 and anti-CD8 antibodies, or with control antibodies (Ab ctrl), as described in Materials and Methods (protocol 1). Mice were either infected with hMPV or mock infected. Data are means ± SEM for four to six mice per group. Three independent experiments were performed.
