Dopamine suppresses both the fast and slow components of the mixed monosynaptic IPSP in fan cells. (a) GABA-mediated IPSPs were isolated pharmacologically with ionotropic glutamate receptor blockers and recorded at membrane potentials just below action potential threshold.
