IL-17R KO mice are less susceptible to TNF-induced shock. TNF was injected i.v. in WT (n = 7) and IL-17R KO (n = 7) mice, and mortality was monitored. Blood samples were taken 3 h after the injection, and serum samples were tested for IL-6 and NOx.
