Adhesion of human eosinophils to fibronectin-coated plates. Eosinophils (3.5 × 103cells/well) were incubated with eotaxin (10, 100 and 1000 ng/ml), RANTES (10, 100 and 1000 ng/ml) or platelet-activating factor (PAF; 10-6 M) for 4 h (37°C, 5%CO2) and then allowed to adhere to fibronectin-coated wells for 30 min. Results are expressed as mean adhered cell percentages of total cell number ± SEM (n = 6). * P < 0.05 compared to control (CTRL).
