G2A Naked2 does not localize to the plasma membrane. A, MDCK cells stably expressing G2A Naked2-EGFP (left panel) and WT Naked2-EGFP (right panel) were cultured on plastic. Punctate vesicle-like fluorescence was observed in the cytoplasm of G2A Naked2-EGFP-expressing cells, whereas WT Naked2 fluorescence was observed at the plasma membrane as well as in the cytoplasm.
