Effect of Leishmania major mLPG and sLPG on NO production in J774.1A macrophage cell line. Macrophages were cultured (10⁶ cell/ml) in DMEM medium in the presence of LPG (0.1, 1, 10 and 100 µg/ml) alone and with L-NMMA (2 mM) as nitric oxide synthase inhibitor. After 48 hr supernatant were analyzed for NO production by Griess reagent. The bars are mean +/- SD for three times study.
