Immobilization of his6–GFP on NTA-PEG3400-Si(OMe)3-modified surfaces, represented as normalized fluorescence intensity, as a function of his6-GFP concentration. The total binding and nonspecific binding (i.e., after washing the his6-GFP-loaded surface with 500 mM imidazole) on the NTA-PEG surface were measured. Specific binding was calculated as the difference between total binding and nonspecific binding.
