LT.N2 cells, grown to confluence, were shifted to DM, either alone or supplemented with each of the indicated growth factors. Twenty-four hours later they were fixed, after 1 h of BrdU incorporation. BrdU was detected by immunofluorescence staining and the percentage of positive nuclei was calculated with respect to total nuclei, visualized by DAPI staining. At least 400 nuclei were counted for each sample, and the results are the mean of three independent experiments.
