Dynamic association of U8 and U14 RNAs with coiled bodies. Fluorescein-labeled, wild-type, or nucleolar localization-defective variant U8 and U14 RNAs (including U8 box C [ΔC] and box D [ΔD] mutants and the U14 terminal stem mutant [ΔTerm. Stem]) were injected into oocyte nuclei. Nuclear spreads were made at the times indicated in minutes, and the RNA signals were analyzed by fluorescence microscopy.
