Civil cases of malaria in 1923–44 in Finland. The Karelian Isthmus and the rest of Finland are compared. Malaria cases had disappeared in the Karelian Isthmus in the beginning of 1930's. The cases in 1937–39 were mosquito triggered relapses. Most of the civil cases in 1942–44 are expected to be soldiers on leave [6].
