The effect 4-HNE on LPS binding to monocytes. Monocytes were pretreated with 4-HNE (20 μmol/L) and then incubated with 1 μg/ml of fluorescein isothiocyanate-LPS and the fluorescence intensity measured using a flow cytometer.
