Trap calibration in 0.3% methylcellulose. The trapped microsphere was moved at increasing velocity (1.5–50 μm/s) in 0.3% methylcellulose, and its Δd with respect to the center of the trap was measured. Linear regression showed a very good fit (R² = 0.92).
