Growth of M. synoviae WVU 1853 in MDCK and Vero cell cultures, detected by PCR on the 16S-23S ITS region. Both cultures were infected with serial dilutions of the strain stock and incubated for 7 days at 37°C and 5% CO₂. The mycoplasma titers (CFU/ml) in the dilutions were determined using ATCC 486 medium.
