Each bar represents the median level of parasite growth inhibition for the IgG from each group of rabbits. For the Edinburgh data, the 5-mg ml⁻¹ GIA results using the Wellcome parasite clone are plotted compared to the BPRC data (at 6 mg ml⁻¹) using the FCR3 parasite clone. The number of parasites in each sample was measured by using the pLDH levels and by flow cytometry after thiazole orange staining of parasites (for the Wellcome clone only). Error bars indicate the minimum and maximum inhibition levels within each group.
