Candidal rAls3p-N vaccine primes murine splenocytes against the S. aureus cell wall. Splenocytes from mice vaccinated with CFA alone or CFA plus rAls3p-N were stimulated with medium alone, tetanus toxoid, rAls3p-N, S. aureus cell wall extract, or rClfA-N. The cells were pulsed with tritiated thymidine for the last 6 h of culture and harvested for counting of radioactive β-particles.
