RNA pol I–III transcription in normal and WS lymphoblastoid cell lines. The cells were labeled with [¹⁴C]thymidine, encapsulated, lysed, and incubated with α-amanitin (10 μg/ml) on ice for 30 min before the transcription reaction. The amount of [³H]UMP incorporation was measured by scintillation counting. The α-amanitin–resistant synthesis represents the transcription by RNA pol I and III.
