The transcription measured as [3H]UMP incorporated per 106 cells in the normal cell line (GM1310) was considered 100%. The transcription measured in WS (KO375) chromatin supplemented with 50 μg of either Hela or KO375 nuclear extracts was expressed as percent of control.
