Sensitivity of stress granules and GW bodies to cycloheximide. (A) Effect of cycloheximide as a function of arsenite concentration. HeLa cells were treated with indicated arsenite concentrations for 30 min and further incubated with cycloheximide in the presence of arsenite for another 30 min. After fixation of the cells, stress granules and GW bodies were stained with anti-eIF3 and anti-Dcp1 antibodies, respectively. (B) Effect of cycloheximide during arsenite recovery.
