Effects of heNOS phosphorylation on Ca2+, CaM activation, or Cav-P inhibition of Inline graphic generation Inline graphic generation rates from control and Akt or PKCα-phosphorylated heNOS (BH4-free) were measured by EPR spin-trapping as described in Fig. 2 with EC50 measured as in Figs. 4 and 6. The effect of phosphorylation of heNOS on the interaction with Cav-P was determined with Cav-P inhibition expressed as the percent inhibition produced by the addition of Cav-P (400 μm) to a reaction containing 500 μm Ca2+, 600 nm CaM.
