In situ hybridization autoradiograms from vehicle-treated mice from the first experiment (shown in Figs. 2 and 3) were quantified with a computer-assisted image analysis system at rostral (bregma 0.98 mm) and caudal (bregma −0.10 mm) levels. Results are expressed as nCi/mg tissue (mean ± SEM); n = 4–7 mice per group. There were no significant differences in basal NT mRNA expression among D3−/−, D3+/− and wild-type mice in any of the regions studied.
