Strains containing no temperature-sensitive mutation (R153) or bimA1APC3 (PM156) or bimE7APC1 (SO4) were replica plated and incubated at permissive temperature (30°C) or semirestrictive temperature (35°C) for 3 d. Greater temperature sensitivity caused by bimA1APC3 when compared with bimE7APC1 is apparent.
