Black bars indicate the time period over which cell can stably attach and differentiate on the films; gray bars indicate the time period over which the cells began to aggregate (prior to detachment from the films). The detachment could occur over several days (for low and medium CL films) or even weeks (in the case of EDC 100 and control surfaces).
