The protein buffer was 50 mM Tris pH 7.0, 100 mM NaCl, 1% glycerol, 1 mM DTT, 100 mM Arg, 100 mM Glu and 200 mM trehalose. On increasing the percentage of the crystallization condition, the B ₂₂ values became more negative and closer to the ‘crystallization slot’.
