Mixing reproducibility. A solution of fluorescein dye was diluted using a circuit with a carryover fraction of 0.12. Two separate devices were operated with identical pumping parameters: flush(100,90), mix(100,120). The five profiles are offset by 200 CPS for clarity. The start of the flush and mix programs is indicated by arrows. The inset contains an overlay of the five replicates and a sample fit of an exponentially damped sinusoid. Diluent flushing and mixing are highly reproducible, with mixing transients agreeing in fit within 1%.
