Phase-contrast micrographs of Sf9 cells infected for 48 h with recombinant baculovirus encoding different myr 5 constructs. Sf9 cells that overexpress myr 5 (a) show numerous thin extensions that often contain varicosities. Similar extensions were noticed for cells overexpressing either myr 5 tail domain (b) or just the myr 5 GAP domain (c).
