Overexpression of myr 5 causes the loss of actin stress fibers and focal adhesions in NRK cells. NRK cells were transiently transfected with myr 5-HA expression vector (pCMV5 myr 5-HA). Cells were processed for triple immunofluorescence 40 h after transfection. They were viewed in phase-contrast microscopy (a). myr 5 was visualized with antibody Tü 66 followed by AMCA-coupled goat anti-rabbit antibody (b), F-actin was visualized with FITC-phalloidin (c), and vinculin was visualized with antibody hVin-1 followed by lissamine rhodamine-coupled goat anti-mouse antibody (d).
