PIPKs colocalized with components of the mRNA-processing machinery in nuclear speckles. Methanol-fixed rat NRK fibroblasts were double-labeled with anti-PIPKIα or anti-PIPKIIα polyclonal antibodies and human Sm antiserum (recognizes components of small nuclear RNA-binding proteins).
