Nuclear localization of a fraction of YlFbp. An extract of glucose-grown Y. lipolytica strain P01a was fractionated into total (T), cytoplasmic (C), and nuclear (N) fractions as described in Materials and Methods. Equal amounts of protein (40 μg) of the different fractions were used for Western blot analysis carried out with specific antibodies against YlFbp and proteins of known subcellular localization.
