Mecp2 disruption and juvenile sociability. Transiently decreased Mecp2 expression in the developing amygdala did not disrupt sociability in juvenile (P31–P33) rats. All treatment groups showed normal levels of sociability, with time spent in the social chamber predominating over time spent in the nonsocial and middle chambers.
