12-14 DIV cultured hippocampal neurons were transfected with a plasmid encoding myc-tagged DNα1. 24-48 h after transfection neurons were fixed, permeabilized and stained with antibodies specific for GABABR2 subunits (secondary antibody conjugated to rhodamine) and for myc (secondary antibody conjugated to FITC). Neurons were also stained with anti-pS783 antibodies (A-B) or pS892 (C-D) conjugated to Alexa 405. Images were recorded from both untransfected neurons (A and C) and those expressing DNα1 (B and D) using the same microscope settings. Scale bars represent 5 μm.
