Dysferlin-Deficient Muscle Shows Disease-Specific Increase in Slp2a Protein. Shown is an immunoblot developed for the detection of Slp2a (∼110kd) using Slp2a-SHD antibody. Shown are muscle containing no detectable Slp2a protein in normal (N1 and N2) and in [LGMD2I] FKRP (F1 and F2) patients, whereas dysferlin deficient patients (D1 and D2) show Slp2a of the expected molecular weight (m).
