The cytotoxic effect of MJ toward sarcoma (left panel) and carcinoma (right panel) cell lines. SaOS-2, SK-LMS, MCA-105, RD, A-549, B-16, HCT-116, and CT26 cells were seeded into 96-well plates at a concentration of 3 x 103 cells per well and were allowed to adhere overnight. Cells were incubated for 16 additional hours in the presence of vehicle (ethanol) or different concentrations of MJ. The cytotoxic effect of MJ was measured using the XTT Cell Proliferation Kit as described in the Materials and Methods section. Values are means ± SD of at least three similar experiments.
