Replication kinetics of mutant viruses. MT4 cells were infected with the selected viruses (classical IVS) (A) or recombinant viruses (B) at an MOI of 0.0001. Cells were evaluated microscopically for HIV-induced CPE, and viral p24 levels were determined daily in cell-free supernatant. Experiments were done in duplicate.
