(a) Six-fold serial dilutions of the indicated yeast strains were plated onto YPD or YPD containing the indicated concentrations of MMS or hydroxyurea (HU). (b) Immunoblots of whole-cell lysates derived from the indicated yeast strains were probed to detect Rtt109-Flag3 and histone H3K56 acetylation. The Ponceau S staining and the immunoblot with an anti-H4 antibody were used as loading controls.
