Interneurons expressing α7 nACh mRNA or CB1 mRNA were counted in 17 sections from three different rats.
For each layer, the percentage of interneurons co-expressing α7 nACh mRNA and CB1 mRNA was calculated from the population of α7 nACh mRNA expressing interneurons.
For each layer, the percentage of interneurons co-expressing α7 nACh mRNA and CB1 mRNA was calculated from the population of CB1 mRNA expressing neurons.
