λ⁰ is in units of S.cm².equiv^.−1. The λ⁰ and r data are from Appendix 6.2 and Table 6.2, respectively, of Robinson and Stokes (22). However, r_s and r/r_s were calculated afresh, r_s from r_s = 0.820/(λ⁰ η^o), which, with η^o = 0.008903 poise for water at 25°C, gives r_s = 92.1/λ⁰.
