The figure depicts the effect of preincubation with GTN (0.1 mm, 10 min, 37 °C) on the dehydrogenation of Monal 62 in the absence and presence of various thiols. Experimental conditions were: 8.1 μg/ml rat liver mitochondria, 3 μm Monal 62, 0.1 mm NAD⁺, and DTT (2 mm), β-ME (50 mm), or LPA-H₂ (0.1 mm) as indicated, in 10 mm Tris (pH 7.4), 250 mm sucrose, 5 mm EGTA, and 2 mm MgCl₂.
