Differential responsiveness of proliferating and differentiated LS14 cells to compounds that affect PRL release. Cells were first incubated in DMEM/F12 containing 1% CSS for 24 h and then with TNFα (1 ng/ml), TGFβ (10 ng/ml), IL-6 (10 ng/ml), insulin (INS; 100 nm) or forskolin (FOR; 10 μm) for an additional 24 h.
