Sera obtained at necropsy from 10 IL-10-/- mice infected with HhPAId1, and 9 IL-10-/- mice infected WT H. hepaticus. The Th1-associated IgG2c response to H. hepaticus antigens was lower in mice colonized by the mutant HhPAId1 (p<0.004). The Th2-associated IgG1 responses were equivalent (p=0.14).
