General activity of the three strains of mice (C57BL/6J, TRPV1 k.o., hairless SKH1-HRHR) was assessed by determining the number of rearing events and duration of the rearing events over the 7-sessions. There was a significant decrease in rearing events for the hairless and C57BL/6J strains (ANOVA, *P < 0.05).
