Effects of (Pro³)GIP and (Pro³)GIP[mPEG] injections once every 3 days on insulin response to glucose (a), arginine (b), GLP-1 (c) and glucagon (d) in mice with diet-induced obesity. (Pro³)GIP[mPEG] (25 nmol kg⁻¹) or saline vehicle (control) were administered once every 3 days for 48 days before tests. Plasma insulin was measured immediately before and 5 min after i.p. injection of glucose (18 mmol kg⁻¹), arginine (0.25 g kg⁻¹), GLP-1 or glucagon (both at 25 nmol kg⁻¹).
