IR-induced SNM1A foci do not depend on γ-H2AX or 53BP1. (A) HT-1080 cells were depleted of 53BP1 by siRNA, and exposed to IR (10 Gy). Four hrs later cells were fixed and immunostained with the indicated antibodies. (B) IR-induced 53BP1 foci formation was not affected in in Snm1A-/- MEF cells. Cells were processed as in A.
