TPA induces MnSOD expression at mRNA and protein levels in ML-1 cells. Three million cells were incubated in the presence or in the absence of 5 nM TPA for various times. MnSOD mRNA levels were determined by examination of microarray analysis data. MnSOD protein levels were determined by Western blot analysis using mouse anti-human MnSOD antibodies.
