Significant reduction in the loss of synaptic markers, synaptophysin and post-synaptic density protein-95 (PSD-95) in GMF-KO mice infused with Aβ1-42. Western blot analysis of presynaptic protein (A) and post-synaptic protein (B) showed significant reduction in hippocampal extracts of Aβ-infused GMF-KO mice compared to Aβ-infused Wt mice. The results shown are representative and were repeated a minimum of three times.
